“What We Heard About Poverty in B.C. – Supplemental Report” was produced in 2018 by the Government of British Columbia, following 28 community consultations and conversations. The report provides an overview of issues that were identified along with the feedback on possible ideas and activities received through the series of community meetings.

Friendship Centres are the organization of choice for Indigenous people seeking supports and are uniquely positioned to play a key role in addressing the issue with more support. Greater consistency in the types of programming/services offered by Friendship Centres will ensure that clients can access the same services regardless of where they live.-
