Human rights issues in Chetwynd
The Chetwynd Brief is part of a series that looks closely at human rights issues in four B.C. communities.
This brief focuses on three key areas of concern:
- effects of the boom-and-bust resource economy (increased cost of living, housing shortages, job losses)
- access to health care (staffing shortages, limited services)
- colonization, discrimination and hate (impacts to Indigenous people, newcomers, women and LGBTQ2SAI+ people)
