In 2021, “The First Nations Population Health and Wellness Agenda” was co-published by the First Nations Health Authority and the Office of the Provincial Health Officer. The agenda is grounded in First Nations teachings that health and wellness stand on a foundation of self-determination, culture, language, connection to land and supportive systems. It aims to evolve how population health is monitored.
